A Florida Pumpkin Patch

So, last weekend we decided to take the boys to a pumpkin patch. Aaron said that he had saw a sign for one on his way to work so it was only about 10 mins from us. I guess in Florida they consider a big grassy area with a little bit of hay scattered around with pumpkins all over a "pumpkin patch". We were a little disappointed but we looked around at all the pumpkins and they had a cute little area set up so we just took some pictures. We told Kaden we would wait to buy a pumpkin after we checked out some other places. Tan Tan did find a little pumpkin that he didn't want to let go of, so we did get that one.

On Saturday(the next weekend) after doing a little research on the internet where to find a "real pumpkin patch" we headed off to Sanford to "THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH". As soon as we drove up we just started laughing..(well actually, Aaron threatened to beat me for driving all that way for the same thing that was so close to our house!) Again just a bunch of pumpkins in a big grassy area, except this time they were in piles on wood pallets! AHH! Oh well, Kaden had fun anyway. We did buy a pumpkin there..it cost $8! What a rip off..but it was for a fundraiser! So I guess we came to a conclusion that they must not grow pumpkins in Florida!
