Spring Break

We started off Spring Break with Kaden's soccer game...which he won and scored 1 goal! He loves soccer so much and wishes he had a game everyday. We started off the season by telling Kaden we would pay him $5 for every goal he scored, thinking we were pretty safe because last season he didn't score any...well, we will just say, we are down $20...and he still has 3 more games.

High Fives after scoring!
Talking to the ref...not sure what about?

Kaden was invited to a Birthday Party where they rented a huge inflatable water slide...the kids had so much fun on that thing. Tanner went down once then he was done...but he loved watching the other kids go over and over again!

Kaden and Adam...Poor Kade looks a little cold!

Aaron took a day off of work and we took the boys to the beach

Kaden flying his new kite he got from the Easter Bunny!

Tanner getting all tangled in the kite string

To end Kaden's spring break, we took a little weekend trip to Tampa. Kaden has been asking to stay in a hotel..it's so funny that the kids love that so much. We hung out by the pool all weekend..it was so nice just to get away for a while!

On the way..watching the video IPOD

The Hotel...Hard Rock Tampa

Playing in the pool...he is such a fish..we were at the pool for 8 hours
and Kaden hardly got out at all!

Tan Tan..taking a break!

We did take a trip to the new park and also to Monkey Joe's, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures, I brought my camera but left the memory card in my computer!

So sad that Spring Break is over, but that means summer is right around the corner!

Happy Birthday

Aaron turned a whopping 31 years old on March 11th! No matter how bad he feels about turning 31...he never forgets to remind me that I will always be older than him!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

We love you so much and hope you had a great day!

Daytona Supercross 2009

As part of Aaron's Birthday celebration, he wanted to go to the Daytona Supercross again. Unlike last year, the weather was perfect...a little chilly in the evening but nothing like the inches of rain that fell on us last year. Although, Aaron and I both agreed, the rain and mud made the race more exciting. It is Bike Week in Daytona so we headed out early to check out all the bikes and the vendors. My boys loved the thousands of motorcycles everywhere. Thanks to our friends Paul, Deb and the VanDykes's for joining us...we had a great time!

Tanner more interested in the people and climbing the stairs than the race.

Go James!
The close up of Kade's sign..a little mangled by the end of the night.
(Unfortunately, James Stewart wrecked at the very
beginning of the race and was not able to catch up.)

Kaden's 6 Year Pictures..Only 5 Months Late

I was a complete procrastinator when it came to getting Kaden's six year picture done. He had some school pictures taken, but I'm not a huge fan of plain ol' school pics. Anyway, I was going to take Kaden last week to have his pictures done but Aaron convinced me to take them myself. So here is my best attempt at portraits of my little man. I am still learning a lot about my new camera and Photoshop...so hopefully someday I will be able to take all of my kids pictures!

Got Money?

One of Tanner's new favorite things to do is pretend to give you his "money". He always asks "Mommy, you have two dollars?" Then he says "Tanner does", after digging in his pockets and pulling out his money! He is such a sweet funny boy and is always making us laugh!
Checking his pockets
