A Family Self Portrait

This is our attempt to take a picture of all of us...Aaron was taking the pictures...
Oops..cut of Tanner's head!
Oops..cut off Kaden's head!
Everybody is there..but I have my eyes closed.
Finally...this is as good as it gets! Not too bad!

Tanner was being so silly and making his funny "cheese" face!

Playing in the Bounce House

On Thanksgiving, Aaron decided to get the bounce house out for the kids to play in. We all had a ton on fun. This was Tanner's first time being in the bounce house and as you can see...he loved it! I know, I took a ton of pictures!

T-BALL

Soccer season is over so it's on to T-Ball! Kaden was a little nervous about playing T-Ball because he thought that he was going to get tackled like you do in football. After reassuring him that he won't get tackled, he was really excited to play. Last Saturday he had his first game. He did a great job and hit the ball really far.

Oh Tan Tan!

Who knew a blue marker could taste so good? Apparently Tanner didn't mind the taste of it and apparently I wasn't paying much attention! I gave him the marker to distract him for a minute not realizing he could take the lid off. Could he get any cuter?

Brushy Brush!

Tan Tan being cute brushing his teeth! He loves to brush and loves the taste of toothpaste.

My Little Helpers

Just wanted to post a couple of cute pictures of Tanner and Kaden helping me bake a chocolate cake. They love to help me in the kitchen! Kaden asked Aaron if he wanted to help but Aaron replied by saying "I don't know how to make cake." Kaden said "Come on Dad, it's easy, we will teach you!" Such a sweet boy!

Tam's New Hair

It seems really weird to me to post pictures of myself because usually I am the only one that takes the pictures. But I have had a few request to post pictures of my new hair cut! I decided the other day that I was going to chop my hair off. I was really nervous because in the last 7 years or so, I have only trusted 2 people to cut my hair..my good friends Mindie and Sunny! My last hair cut was in February and my hair was starting to look pretty nasty, so I figured it was time! I still want to get in colored...I need you Mindie or Sunny!

Tanner's Check-Up -- 15 months

Tan Tan had his 15 month check up today. He weighs 21 lbs and is 30 1/2 inches long. He is in the 10th percentile in both his weight and height...YEAH...he finally made it on the charts. Now we don't have to listen to the Dr. complain about how small he is. He eats, I promise! He actually usually eats more than Kaden! He had to get three shots, and yes, unlike his brother..he cried! It was so sad. He got one in each arm and one in his leg. Kaden thought we should go to Target and buy a Nintendo Wii game because he was such a good boy and held Tanner's hand while he got his shots! HA HA..nice try Kade!

A few new things Tanner has learned lately.... He is walking so good..no more crawling at all! He loves to take his baby for a walk in the stroller.. yes, he plays with a baby and a baby stroller and Aaron is ok with it! :) He is really into animal sounds right now.. he loves the chicken. He will make a chicken sound but refuses to do it for anybody but me! I am trying to teach him what a turkey says, but every time I say "gobble gobble" he just laughs! Tanner loves listening to music..he loves Rascal Flatts and John Mayer..he dances all the time. His other favorite thing right now is the Wii remote, he will carry it around all day and pretend he is playing. He loves watching his big brother and tries to do everything Kaden does!

Kaden's 5 Year Old Check-Up

The day finally came..Kade had to have his check-up. He has been asking me for weeks "how many more sleeps until my check-up?" Kaden weighs 35 lbs and is 40 1/4 inches tall! He is in the 10th percentile in both his weight and height! Still our "little guy"! He had to get 4 shots and he didn't cry at all! He is a tough guy! He got one in each arm and one in each leg. We took him to Target to get him a treat and he suckered Aaron into buying him a new game for his Nintendo Wii! He deserves it though, we are so proud of him for being so brave! He wanted me to take a picture of each of his band-aids. Tonight he has been saying that his legs are sore. Poor kid!

Painting Pumpkins

Today we painted some little pumpkins we found at the pumpkin patch. Kaden was so excited! At first he painted his whole pumpkin blue. Then he decided he wanted to make a scary face on it to scare all the kids on Halloween. So we washed it off and started over! Tan Tan was more interested in painting his tray and eating the paint. He only lasted for about 10 minutes then he had enough! They turned out really cute!

A Florida Pumpkin Patch

So, last weekend we decided to take the boys to a pumpkin patch. Aaron said that he had saw a sign for one on his way to work so it was only about 10 mins from us. I guess in Florida they consider a big grassy area with a little bit of hay scattered around with pumpkins all over a "pumpkin patch". We were a little disappointed but we looked around at all the pumpkins and they had a cute little area set up so we just took some pictures. We told Kaden we would wait to buy a pumpkin after we checked out some other places. Tan Tan did find a little pumpkin that he didn't want to let go of, so we did get that one.

Kaden's scary pumpkin face..he said he was going to carve his to look like that!

On Saturday(the next weekend) after doing a little research on the internet where to find a "real pumpkin patch" we headed off to Sanford to "THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH". As soon as we drove up we just started laughing..(well actually, Aaron threatened to beat me for driving all that way for the same thing that was so close to our house!) Again just a bunch of pumpkins in a big grassy area, except this time they were in piles on wood pallets! AHH! Oh well, Kaden had fun anyway. We did buy a pumpkin there..it cost $8! What a rip off..but it was for a fundraiser! So I guess we came to a conclusion that they must not grow pumpkins in Florida!
