Last Saturday, we took the boys to see the Mardi Gras Parade at Universal Studios. They had some really cool floats and everybody threw beads at you (unlike regular Mardi Gras , there was no flashing going on!) :) The boys really enjoyed the parade with all the tall people and pretty lights! Universal Studios celebrates Mardi Gras on Saturdays in February through April with a parade, concert and lots of Mardi Gras food and music. Gretchen Wilson was playing in concert when we went but there were so many people we weren't able to get very close. We just watched her on the big screen. Kaden was really disappointed, he wanted to go right up by the stage. So maybe we will try to go again and just get there early so we can get good seats to a concert!
