Trunk or Treat

My cute friend Tabitha invited us to a Halloween Trunk or Treat. The boys had a blast playing carnival games, playing with friends and getting lots of candy!

Visit with Grandma & Grandpa Snyder

Aaron's parent's came out for a long weekend earlier this month. We went to St. Augustine for the day, had a little Halloween party for the kids and they even took the boys overnight so Aaron and I could have a date night. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa..we enjoyed our visit with you and hope you come back soon!

Somebody..Please Help!

This is what Tanner does every time we try to put a Halloween costume on him. He freaks out..not just a little whine, but a full on tantrum! We have a dragon, tiger, caterpillar and a pirate costume and he won't wear any of them. I even went out and bought him a Batman costume because he loves wearing Kaden's play Spiderman costume that is way to big for him and is all stained and holy..but nope..not even Batman. Of course every store is sold out of size 2T Spiderman costumes..even online! Looks like Tanner will not be dressing up for Halloween this year!

And then there is Kaden...who absolutely LOVES costumes! He has tried on every single costume we have..including this one..it was Tanner's costume 2 years ago..yep, size 3-6 Months!

In Memory Of

I just returned home from a short, unexpected and sad trip to Reno to say goodbye to my dear Uncle Chris. The day Aaron and I arrived in St. Louis, I received news of his passing. He was a big man with an even bigger heart and a laugh that I will never forget. He was so loving and kind to everybody he met and he will be missed a lot! My heart goes out to my sweet Auntie K and my cousins, Juston, Todd, Makenna and Makenna's little girl, Mikayla who loved her PaPa very much!

We love you all!

A Little Getaway

Thursday, Aaron and I will be headed off to St. Louis for a long weekend...Aaron to work, me to play! Not really sure what I will be doing while Aaron is working, but does it really matter? Not really, I will be enjoying ME time...which I'm sure will include shopping and sleeping..does it get any better than that?

Aaron's sweet sister Tami has agreed to come and stay with the boys...I am very nervous about leaving them, not that Tami can't handle it, but because I have never really left them for more than a one night sleepover with cousins. Tami is bringing her two sweet girls, so Kaden and Tanner are going to LOVE spending time with their cousins Aspen and Harley!

Not to mention, I am a little bit of a control freak..I need to make sure everything is perfect... clothes picked out, lunches made for Kaden's school, soccer uniform ready for Saturday, navigation system set with all the addresses she will need, maps printed from MapQuest just in case navigation system fails..that tends to happen a lot for some reason, a stocked refrigerator with all the food she will need, a clean car for her to drive, a clean house...oh man..I still have a lot to do!

Thanks so much Tami Jo...we appreciate you more than you know! We hope you have a fun weekend with the boys! We love you Kade and Tan Tan and hope you enjoy your time with Aunt Tami and your cousins!

Call Me Crazy

Ok, so I know I am gonna catch a TON of grief for this, but I got my belly pierced. I have been wanting to do it for a long time but I am a big chicken when it comes to needles. But I finally did it. It wasn't the worst pain, but it hurt..ok it hurt a lot! I won't lie..I am just trying to be tough about it! The clamp definitely hurt worse than the needle though!

We adopted him from a work friend of Aaron..we will see how long we can keep him alive!
